My Approach

First and foremost I consider myself a Witness and Support. So much of our pain and suffering may be alleviated by simply sharing; feeling seen and heard all the way to the heart. With careful contemplation and well-practiced intuition I offer safe space, thoughtful reflection, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and/or hands-on energetic healing therapies that include deep listening, guidance, gentle touch, Acupuncture, and Craniosacral Technique.
While I am here to support whomever feels inspired to invite me, I am especially drawn to supporting folks who are yearning to honor their true nature, especially as part of their healing process.
My priority is to support my patients in their process. I deeply listen and hold space for their experience and perspective, and then build a treatment plan that is inspired by what they share as well as enriched by my study and experience.

I offer a few different Private Treatments as well as Community Style Acupuncture.

(I am also available for hire to provide private and/or community style treatments at events/gatherings. Please contact me directly to discuss: robin@cloudrestclinic.org)

About Robin Wiesner LAc

In her teens, after a series of emotional traumas and navigating complex PTSD and anxiety, Robin set out on a lifelong journey of learning about different approaches to personal growth and healing. She has studied Psychology, Somatics, Relationship dynamics, Attachment Theory, and Human Design, among other modalities and methods, and is currently a Level 1 trained Practioner and on track for certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. IFS considers our many, often conflicted, internal "parts" and offers support in creating balance and healing within our internal system. Personally Robin has found this particular method to be the most deep and lasting in her own internal healing journey.

Additionally, when she was 25 years old, Robin suffered a lower back injury. After spinal surgery she spent 2 years in severe chronic pain, believing this was her new normal. Acupuncture was eventually recommended and with it, over just a few months, she regained all mobility and lost all traces of pain. Some years later, when faced with a new health crisis and very low income she discovered a community acupuncture clinic.  While in treatment at this clinic Robin was relieved and inspired by the accessibility of the community treatment style and also deeply sensed that the effectiveness of the healing was magnified by sharing space with other patients. Within weeks of starting treatment there, she applied to a school specifically focused on training for Community Style Acupuncture.
Since graduating she has practiced in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington.

Beyond extensive study in personal growth and acupuncture Robin is also training in (and very enthusiastic about) [Upledger style] Craniosacral Technique as a holistic (mind/body/spirit) supportive therapy. She has found Craniosacral technique to be exceptionally effective in regulating the nervous system, which enhances the deep emotional and physical healing this technique provides. With every level of training in Craniosacral Technique she completes, Robin becomes more inspired with how easily it is combined with IFS and psychosprititual healing. "Craniosacral is like physical IFS!"

Robin has been a patient, receptionist, and practitioner and is enthusiastic about each perspective in the clinic. She is originally from the Northeast (Maine and New York) but has found a long-term home here among the forest, peaks, rains, and rivers of the Pacific Northwest.
Robin is passionate about social justice and feels that one of her major roles in this cause is as a support in all levels of healing. She finds that there is often as much healing in holding safe space as in finding the ‘right’ technique or points. “I am inspired by the power of holistic medicine and committed to providing affordable, trauma-informed care. My intention for patients beyond supporting their healing process is for them to feel empowered and comfortable on a deep level, to feel welcome, held and heard, and valued as an integral person in their/our community.”
